Rugrats and Parking Lots

Exhaustion. Utter exhaustion. I do this to myself, too. I'm such a night owl. Not an insomniac, because I can sleep, I just choose not to. I was up until 3 a.m. watching The Rugrats Movie that I bought on our Walmart adventure, talking to my mom on the phone, and laying in a dark parking lot watching the clouds move over the moon. Have you ever done that? No, probably not. Because nobody reads this. But, if any of my nonexistent readers ever did, they would know that it's probably the coolest sight ever, especially when you get that strange sense of vertigo like you're moving when you're actually sitting still. I laid on the ground and put my hand up to the sky to increase the vertigo, and it felt like I was flying.
Something weird happened the other day but I just found out about it last night. I called my mom because it was Mother's Day, but I wouldn't get to see her until Wednesday because sadly I work all the time. So we were talking and she told me that my brother's friend found a letter I wrote outside, and it was the best thing she'd ever read.
"Letter? What letter?" I thought it might be something I wrote a long time ago, but she described to me the letter I wrote her earlier that week, that I didn't think I'd be able to give her until Wednesday. I freaked out and checked the place I thought I left it, but of course it wasn't there.
I don't remember even moving it, but it was folded up on the ground outside her house, and made its way to her on Mother's Day. I think it was magic.
